I recommend to anyone attempting to reach a goal to have something or somethings that inspire you and will keep you motivated in moving toward that goal. In my endless online research on mobile boutiques I came across this video on YouTube click here. I watched this video religiously. Every time I watched it I would feel inspired and motivated. I would some day be the girl in the video. Plus I love her story and I love the video period. My favorite part is the girl dancing at the end. She is so cute! I want my customer's shopping experience with me to be fun and exciting like the video! I also decided to do an inspiration board which is pictured below. On it I added a step van, a article on a boutique owner who really loves what she does and she is making about $61,000 a year. My current goal:) I also have a little card that I got from the Mobile Street Boutique on my visit that day to D.C. that I love. It's so cute and easy for me to carry around with me and she dropped a few in my cute little shopping bag she gave me as well. Yes I would put the cards in my pockets and randomly find them..lol. Here is the link to the video and pictures of my inspiration board. Don't laugh at my other items on my inspiration board like passionate sex! a girl can dream...lol

The Girls: xoxo
A good way to do research is to find others by way of social media. While googling mobile boutiques I came across a local mobile boutique Curbside fashion truck which to my delight I saw she was not to far from me. With social media in mind I went in search of her on instagram. Definitely check her out. I was so excited to find others and her as well. When I found Myss on instagram she just so happened to be participating in an event where she was getting together with other mobile boutiques in the D.C area for a shopping event. I made up my mind I was going up there. When I say up there I'm in VA and the drive was 3 hours away. I didn't care. Just the thought of meeting these ladies and seeing their trucks. I had planned to go with a good friend who was not able to go so I asked another friend who was also later not able to go. I hated to drive all the way up there alone. But you know what, I wasn't going to let anything stand in my way. I was going alone! On Oct 16, 2013 I set off up the highway. I must say the ladies all of them were sooooo nice and supportive. The bonus was I swear they all had cute stuff and yes the shop-a-holic in me bought something from all of them! I was so overwhelmed and grateful and full of excitement for my future that as soon as I got back in the car from talking with them I cried like a baby! True story...lol I knew right then and there in that moment that I was going to have a mobile boutique. Here are pictures from that day as you can see in the picture of myself my eyes are red from crying. I love my ole cry baby self:)
Here are my pictures from that day. Meet the Girls:)

The Start Of My Journey
Hello there:) I want to first thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my blog. I hope to help others that may be on the same journey or something similar as me. I almost don't know where to start. I want to be brief and straight to the point. I got the idea to start a mobile boutique after seeing a Marshall's commercial with a similar concept. No one seems to remember this commercial but me..lol. I doubted myself off the bat which you will most likely see for yourself throughout this process. (I want to keep it real and be my honest self) I figured I couldn't afford it and I couldn't possibly do something like that! But man if I could it would be the best for my business. I'd already had my business up and running by doing local events and online. If I could do the mobile boutique I wouldn't have to worry about overhead, being stuck in one spot, locking myself into a contract, being subject to the weather when doing events with only a tent. I got caught in the rain once during an event and it was awful. I got soaking wet and so did my merchandise. I'd already looked into renting a space or doing a kiosk in the mall. Expensive and more expensive. Some time later I attended a local college homecoming game and guess what I saw? Yes a lady with a mobile boutique! That was my wow moment. I can do this it can be done were my thoughts. I went into crazy mode from that day forward. I researched and researched. I've spent hours on the Internet googling fashion mobile boutiques and mobile boutiques. I've learned so much and was inspired by many. The whole process the ups and downs motivated me to share my experience. I hope to be able to help others on this same journey. If you are curious here's a picture of the 1st mobile I'd seen and been in. My inspiration.:)
